218 m a.s.l. >>Well-known, idyllic resort directly by the Lago Maggiore, 12 km from Locarno, 4 km from italienischer Grenze, 9 km from Ascona. All shops, restaurants etc. in the resort. Opposite Brissago there are 2 islands, one of which has been transformed into botanical gardens. Very moderate, pleasent climate.

Frisch renovierte Wohnung zum Wohlfühlen! Die Terasse über dem Lago Maggiore ist toll und zur Alleinbenutzung für 3 Personen sehr großzügig. Die Strasse mit dem Grenzgängerverkehr trübt das Ganze zwar etwas, außerhalb der Rush hour ist es jedoch angenehm ruhig - bis auf die Möven auf dem Nachbardach.... Die Einrichtung ist generell sehr zweckmäßig - alles da, was man so braucht. Einzig der Bettinhalt ist gewöhnungsbedürftig, da aus reiner Kunstfaser und sehr dünn.

Zwar beschrieben als renovierte Wohnung, dennoch Preis-Leistungsverhältnis sehr überteuert auch wegen Strassenlärm, und vor allem weil man Ameisennester in der Wohnung hat und nur 1 WC-Rolle, 1 Spühlmaschinentab usw. Contra: mickrig ausgestattet

We loved our stay in Brissago. We were on the ground floor and had a very nice and cozy apartment. Perfect for a couple`s getaway. The only thing that we did not like so much is the amount of E-Mails we got after booking the accommodation and not having a person to contact easily when we were having a question. Check-out could be a bit later (10:00 am is quite early). Other than that, we were very satisfied!

Anfahrt und Parkplatz super. Leider ein wenig Lärm von der Strasse. Die Matratze im Schlafzimmer könnte besser sein. Für 1-2 Übernachtungen ok. Das Bettsofa war besser. Toiletten Rollen war nach 1 Tag aufgebraucht. Heizung hat gar nicht funktioniert. Ansonsten sehr freundlicher Host.
