"Eden Apt.D", 3-room apartment 61 m2 on 2nd floor. Stylish and cosy furnishings: living/dining room with cable TV, radio, CD-player and DVD. 2 rooms, each room with 2 beds (90 cm, length 200 cm). Open kitchen (oven, dishwasher, 4 ceramic glass hob hotplates, toaster, kettle, microwave, electric coffee machine, Capsules for coffee machine (Nespresso) extra, fondue Set (cheese)). Shower/WC, bath/shower/WC. Small balcony. Very beautiful panoramic view of the mountains. Facilities: washing machine, dryer, iron, hair dryer. Internet (WiFi, free). Please note: non-smokers only.

Apartment block "Eden", renovated in 2003. Above Wengen, 400 m from the centre, in a central, sunny position. In the house: lift, central heating system. Pre-arrival grocery service. Shop, grocery, supermarket 400 m, restaurant 200 m, bar, bakery 400 m, 7 minute walk to the centre, bus stop "Lauterbrunnen (by train)" 3.4 km, railway station "Wengen", outdoor swimming pool 400 m. Cable car 400 m, skisport facilities, slopes 50 m. Well-known lakes can easily be reached: Thunersee 13 km, Brienzersee 13 km. Please note: car-free holiday complex. Arrival via mountain railway. Arrival is only possible by train from Lauterbrunnen – 14 minutes driving time.

1'274 m a.s.l. >>Famous, idyllic, car-free holiday resort with 1'300 inhabitants, on top of a hill, situated at the foot of a mountain, on a plateau with beautiful view, 12 km from Interlaken, 15 km from Grindelwald. In the resort: shops, grocery, bakery, post office, bank, restaurant, night club, cinema. Wellness centre. Besides: doctor. Sights Männlichen, Jungfraujoch, Schilthorn, Trümmelbachfälle, Schynige Platte, Harder, First. Access: no access to the resort by car, reachable only by railway. The journey is made by rack railway (extra) from Lauterbrunnen. Parking spaces available at the train station.

Summer

Heated outdoor swimming pool. Tennis (2 outdoor courts). Minigolf. Paragliding. Mountain lifts, cableways, hiking paths, mountain hikes, mountain tours, climbing, children's hiking paths. Mountain bikes for hire. Children's playground.

Winter

Ski-region Jungfrau-Top Ski Region, total of 43 lifts. Total 213 km ski runs (30 % easy, 50 % intermediate, 20 % difficult), snow park. Ski school (downhill), snowboard school, children's ski school, ski kindergarten. Winter walking paths 50 km. 4 toboggan runs. Artificial ice rink, curling. Free parking space for skis and ski boots at Central Sport.

Easy check in right behind the station office on 1st floor near WC. Uphill climb of 45 degrees to apt, even tho it’s near to station had to walk around due to train tracks. Very good view from balcony, one of the best ard the area. Clean and comfortable beds. Checkout at 10 very early when need to still clean up apt before leaving (remove bed linen, trash, etc) Apt has washer and dryer but no laundry detergent. No personal amenities like shower foam. But got hand and dishwasher soap and towels!

Overall, it was a very good place for four adults to stay. The bedrooms and closet space might become a little small if your stay is more than a week. It can be a bit noisy with the trains running very near, but the view, of course, is everything and the view is great.

Na een vroege aankomst konden we toch direct gebruik maken van het appartement! Super service, extra lang kunnen skiën hierdoor! Net en modern appartement, voorzien van alle zaken welke nodig zijn, zelfs een wasmachine en droger zijn aanwezig. Goed en schone pannen en prima bedden.
