Kitchenette (2 hot plates, toaster, kettle, electric coffee machine). Shower/WC. Beautiful view of the mountains and Eiger. Facilities: hair dryer. Internet (WiFi, free). Parking at the house. Please note: apartment street side. Maximum 1 pet/ dog allowed. Private entrance, fire extinguisher.

Beautiful, cosy apartment house "Chalet Schwendihus". In the district of Schwendi, outside the resort, 2.6 km from the centre, on a main road, south facing position. For shared use: garden. Patio. In the house: WiFi, storage room for skis, central heating system. In Winter: please take snow chains. Stepped path to the house. Parking at the house, communal covered parking (extra). Supermarket 2.7 km, shopping centre 2.6 km, restaurant 2.6 km, bakery 2.8 km, bicycle rental 3 km, bus stop "Schwendi" 300 m, railway station "Schwendi" 300 m, outdoor swimming pool 2 km, indoor swimming pool 2.7 km. Golf course (9 hole) 4 km, tennis 3.5 km, minigolf 2.9 km, sports centre 2.7 km, mountain railway 2 km, gondola lift 2 km, ski rental 2 km, cross country ski track 300 m, children's playground 2.7 km. Well-known lakes can easily be reached: Thuner-/Brienzersee 15 km. Please note: car recommended, no lift. The keys‘ handover takes place by the agency Interhome in Grindelwald, 3 km. Well-known, family-friendly holiday resort with 3'800 inhabitants, situated at the foot of a mountain, 20 km south-west from Interlaken. All shops, restaurants etc. in the resort. Indoor aquatic centre, wellness centre, fitness centre, sauna, solarium, massage. Besides: pharmacy, doctor.

Bathing lake, 20 km from the resort. Outdoor swimming pool. Surfing, sailing school, river rafting, canyoning. Tennis (6 outdoor courts), golf course 9 hole, 1 another golf course in 20 km. Minigolf. Riding in Interlaken 20 km. Fitness course. Fishing (permit required). Paragliding, summer tobbogan run, long 725 m climbing park, high rope course. 1 mountain lift, 3 gondola lifts, 300 km hiking paths, mountain hikes, mountain tours, climbing, children's hiking paths. 100 km mountain bike routes, bicycles and mountain bikes for hire. Children's playground.

Winter

Ski-region Grindelwald. Mountain lifts, gondola lifts, chair lifts, drag lifts, 1 children's ski lift. 51 ski runs, total length 213 km (35 % easy, 45 % intermediate, 15 % difficult), snowboard slope, snow park, halfpipe. Ski school (downhill, cross country), snowboard school, children's ski school, ski kindergarten from 3 years old. 30 km cross country ski tracks in the region, winter walking paths 80 km. Toboggan runs, partially floodlit. Ice rink, artificial ice rink, curling, indoor curling, curling. Ski bus (free of charge). Further ski-regions: Wengen, Mürren, Schilthorn. In Winter: please take snow chains.

The rental accommodation is a room in the larger building pictured with several other rentals (we mistakenly thought we were renting the small private cabin) It is adequate for the price and parking is good. The location was very convenient to the Schwendi Train stop. Unfortunately, there is major road work going on right in front and it was very noisy The room needs better/brighter lighting and 2 pillows each person The check in process was very easy, helpful and friendly.

Goed verzorgd en netjes appartement, alle noodzakelijke voorzieningen zijn aanwezig. Redelijk ver van Grindelwald, maar met het station vlakbij makkelijk te bereiken.

Die Wohnung ist sehr klein aber gemütlich. Leider liegt sie direkt an einer viel befahrender Straße und man kann nur mit Fenster zu schlafen. Man muss auch Abends früh die Gardinen zuziehen, da sonst die vorbeigehenden Leute dir direkt aufs Bett gucken können. Das Badezimmer weißt Schimmelflecken auf da die Wohnung etwas feucht ist. Die Terrasse ist auch nicht sehr einladend. Wir saßen vor unserer Wohnung, da hatte man den Blick auf den Eiger.

Leider war das Wlan so schlecht, dass wir es nicht nutzen konnten. Auf dem 24 Zoll Bildschirm des TV’s konnten wir die Sendungen optisch nur erahnen. Die Matratzen waren leider absolut durchgelegen. Auf unsere Beschwerden wurde aber direkt und freundlich reagiert.

Apartament na parterze budynku od strony głównej ulicy i bezpośrednio przy niej - duży hałas. Bardzo niskie pomieszczenie. Stare, rozwalające się krzesła. Ciemna, ponura wykładzina. Bardzo wygodne łóżko oraz fajna rzecz - rekuperator powietrza. Bardzo słaby Internet, prawie nie działający. Słaby ekspres do kawy- za mały.

- Küche klein aber sehr funktional - Basd schlecht gelüftet - Zimmer sehr niedrig dadurch daß jemand gedacht hat Strahler einzubauen und dadurch die Zimmerhöhe noch reduziert hat. - Winterdecken auch im Sommer- könnte besser sein- _ Straße sehr nahe, daher immer ziemlich lärm. Straßennähe war bekannt, aber so nicht vorgestellt.i

Geen huis om overdag lang te verblijven (1 gecombineerde woon/slaapkamer, kleine keuken) maar wel mooie uitvalsbasis voor prachtige omgeving. Min-punt: Wifi in de praktijk onbruikbaar, kleine kookplaat (2 grote pannen passen net niet). Plus-punt: mooie omgeving, ieder half uur gratis trein naar Grindelwald-centrum.

Die Schweizer Skigebiete haben offen, 03.2021, einfach nur super. Zur Bahnstation in 3 min und nochmal 3 min zur Talstation. Zimmer modern eingerichtet und ideal für Selbstverorger, mit Blick auf die Eiger Nordwand. Sehr zu empfehlen.
