Location Description L'Ametlla de Mar

Fishing village with 5'000 inhabitants, in the south-eastern part of the region, in a convenient position, 50 km south-west from Tarragona, 150 km south-west from Barcelona. Worth seeing: Ports of Calafat and Sant Jordi d'Alfama, small sandy and pebble bays (eg Cala Forn, Cala Vidre), natural port of L'Estany. Fishing harbour where you can watch the boats unload in the centre of L'Ametlla de Mar. Top quality fish and seafood available in a good selection of restaurants. Walks and cycling.
